Manti
items needed
2 cups flour, 1 tbs. salt
3-4 tbs. vegetable oil and water to prepare medium hard dough

Filling :
200 gm. 8oz. medium ground meat1 small onion finely chopped 1/2tbs. salt
1/4 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp.. allspice 1/2 tsp. paprika.


Put the flour salt and oil in a food process and add enough water to prepare medium to hard dough. Divide the dough into two balls .sprinkle some flour at the bottom of the bowl and leave the dough to rest, covered with a cloth for 20-30 minutes.

Sprinkle some flour over a workable surface or a table and roll out a large circle of dough. Cut the dough into long strips 3-4cm wide and cut each of these strips into 3-4 cm. squares. Combine the ground meat onion and salt and spices and blend into smooth paste.Put a small pinch from the meat paste in the middle of each square of pastry and pinch the two sides in the shape of a boat.

Coat the bottom of the baking tray generously with oil and arrange the manti boats side by side. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F until bottom and tops are pink in color. Eat an enjoy (can pour desired sauces).
